COVID-19 Impact on Spring Valley Dental Group

UPDATE 6/2021

Hello Friends,

In the midst of our current National Emergency concerning the COVID-19 virus, we would like to assure you that at Spring Valley Dental Group, your health, safety and well-being is our highest priority.

As we navigate this strange time together, you will likely notice a few changes at your next dental appointment:

  • If you are feeling ill or have a fever (>100° F), please do not come in. Let us know you are ill and can’t make your appointment. See your primary care physician and be well.

  • On arrival, as recommended by the CDC and the American Dental Association, we ask our patients the symptom screening questions and check body temperatures with a forehead thermometer.

  • We will be scheduling differently to accommodate social distancing measures and to reduce wait times.  Please be sure to be on time for your appointment since we may have less ability to accommodate late arrivals.

  • To ensure we keep our waiting room as empty as possible, please call the office when you arrive for your appointment (618.632.8471).  If you arrive early, we ask that you wait in your car, or take a walk close by until your clinician is ready.

  • You are asked to bring and wear a face mask or covering when in the office.

  • You will notice HEPA filters in every room ensuring clear, purified air.

  • You may notice a difference in the flow of your appointments as we work to reduce contact points during your visit.  You will still spend plenty of time with your clinician, but we may schedule appointments and collect copays over the phone.

As always, we are happy to answer any questions you may have.  You can also visit our website for more information about our new safety measures.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to seeing each of you again soon!
