Planned Surgery & Leave for Dr. Ames

Updated: Mar 2, 2022

Dentist Ronald P. Ames, DMD undergoing surgery and will be out of the office for several weeks from March 30th until mid April 2022

To All My Patients,

I'd like to make each of you aware of an upcoming, temporary leave I'll be taking at the end of March/Early April. After years of playing competitive softball and volleyball as a younger man, I now have a hip issue and have surgery scheduled March 30th. My orthopedic doctor suggested I should plan on being out several weeks for recovery, but there is a possibility there could be a longer recovery period. My awesome partner, Dr. Lance Martin will be taking care of any urgent needs during my absence.

One of my hopes is that we can plan together to take care of anything you consider a pressing need prior to my absence. I aim to minimize any frustration over my lack of availability by asking that you engage me soon if there is something you'd prefer not to wait on. I know we have a tendency to put off dental visits. I am willing to make every effort to get pressing needs satisfied before I take my temporary leave.

Help me take care of you! Call the office and we will prioritize to the best of our ability. Be patient with us as we strive to serve.

Sincerely and most optimistically,

Ron Ames, DMD
